Privacy Policy
Last updated: 15 July 2026. This policy explains what personal data Autnic collects through this website, why, and the rights you have over it, wherever you're contacting us from.
Who we are
Autnic ("we", "us") designs websites and lead-capture systems for businesses. This policy covers the personal data we collect from visitors to this website and from people who contact us through it. For any privacy question, email contact@autnic.com.
What we collect
We only collect what you give us directly:
- Contact form submissions: name, email address, phone number (if provided), and the message you send us.
- Email correspondence: anything you send to contact@autnic.com or reply to from our booking links.
- Basic technical data: standard website analytics such as pages viewed and approximate location (country/region), collected automatically for all visitors. We don't use tracking cookies to build advertising profiles.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and discuss the services you asked about.
- To deliver a project you've engaged us for, and to invoice you.
- To understand, in aggregate, how visitors use this site so we can improve it.
We don't sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for their own marketing.
Who processes it
Your form submission is delivered to us via Formspree, a third-party form processor, and lands in our email inbox. We don't use any other data processor beyond standard email and website hosting. We keep enquiry data only as long as needed to respond to you or, if you become a client, for the duration of the project plus the period required for our accounting and tax records.
Your rights
Depending on where you're based, you have some or all of the rights below. To exercise any of them, email contact@autnic.com; we'll respond within 30 days.
European Union & United Kingdom (GDPR)
You have the right to access, correct, or erase your data; to restrict or object to its processing; to data portability; and to withdraw consent at any time. Our legal basis for processing is your consent (when you submit a form) or our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries. You may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
United States
Depending on your state (for example California's CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to know what personal data we hold about you, request its deletion, correct inaccuracies, and opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal data, so there's nothing to opt out of.
Canada (PIPEDA)
You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, request corrections, and withdraw consent to its use. You may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada if you believe we've mishandled your data.
Australia (Privacy Act 1988)
You have the right to access and correct your personal data under the Australian Privacy Principles. Complaints can be directed to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) if unresolved with us directly.
New Zealand (Privacy Act 2020)
You have the right to access and correct your personal data. Complaints can be made to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner if you're unsatisfied with our response.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the data you share with us, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access limited to the people running Autnic. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we don't retain more data than we need.
Children
This website and our services are directed at businesses, not children. We don't knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal data, we'll update this page and revise the date at the top. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
